Club Fundraisers and Events
Rotary Reverse Raffle: A wonderful event that supports our local High School Students. Held in April this event raises over $5000 for our club. April 27, 2018 - Knights of Columbus (Please contact us below if you would like to purchase a raffle ticket.) |
Ugly Sweater 5K: This fun and exciting event will be held on November 24, 2018 in Downtown Westmont and is part of the Holly Days Celebration.

Jr. High Basketball Tournament: The 2018 Tournament has been cancelled for this year. We hope to have an event in 2019.

Interact Robert Brian Bator Grant Applications
Westmont Rotary Club Academic and Service Grants
The Westmont Rotary Club offers on an annual basis, financial awards (grants) for high school students planning to continue their education at a college or university. These grants are based upon academic performance (top 25% of class), co-curricular involvement and school/community service. Applicants must reside within the corporate boundaries of the Village of Westmont.
To be considered for a financial award, candidates must complete an application, which includes a written statement by the student explaining why such a grant would be important to them. In addition, the applicant must submit with their application, a school transcript. Letters of recommendation from teachers and administrators should not be included with the application. All documentation must be submitted by the due date.
Applications will be reviewed and finalists will be selected by a Rotary committee. Finalists (four) will be notified and invited to a Rotary luncheon--usually the first or second week in May. At this time, students will be provided a topic for which they are to prepare a response. Students then present their responses (5-7 minutes) to the Rotary membership at the luncheon. Parents of finalists are also invited to attend the luncheon.
Where possible, finalist will be provided with monetary awards at their school's Annual Award Assemblies. It is the intention of Rotary that these awards be used for college or university related expenses: tuition, books, etc.

The Robert Bator Rotary Interact Grant
The Westmont Rotary Club offers annually, financial awards for high school students involved in their school's Rotary Interact club and plan to continue their education at a college or university. These grants are based upon: A minimum of 2 years membership in an Interact Club and a minimum of 60% participation in activities, meetings and events sponsored by the Interact Club.
Applicants must reside within the corporate boundaries of the Village of Westmont.
